Stephen is a native of Jackson, MS and graduated from Magnolia Academy.
After high school Stephen felt Gods call to ministry and enrolled at The Baptist University of Florida and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Theology.
After leaving Florida he enrolled at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated in 1999 with a Master’s of Arts Degree in Education.
Stephen and his wife Lori have been married for 35 years. They have one daughter, Morgan.
He enjoys spending time with his family, drawing, watercolor painting and playing golf.
Stephen served First Baptist Church as Associate Pastor/Youth Minister for four years and has been Senior Pastor since 2012.
